(Rain date Sunday, October 25)

A wonderful tradition has sprung from the Main Street Burying Ground along with the spirits of Framingham’s most storied forebears. Join us for a stroll among the oldest graves in town and hear from the likes of Salem witch trial refugee Sarah Clayes, former slave Peter Salem, Revolutionary War legend Jonathan Maynard, first minister Reverend Swift and poor Mrs. Twitchell. Newcomers include the cantankerous Joseph Buckminster, noted merchant and hotelier Abner Wheeler, and Betsy Bennett, one of the early straw bonnet entrepreneurs who sold her wares in Mr. Wheeler’s store.

Content is most suited for ages 8+. Footwear suitable for hilly terrain is recommended. Tickets are $5/individual, $15/family and $2 for students with an FSU ID. Purchase tickets below or mail checks to FHC P.O. Box 2032, Framingham, MA 01703. Call 508-626-9091 with questions.
