Edgell Grove Cemetery, 53 Grove St., Framingham

As we continue our spooky Halloween tradition, we will revisit this beautiful “garden cemetery” with a lantern tour beginning at sunset. This guided walking tour will feature stops at the burial sites of reinterred Revolutionary War soldiers, the unfortunate Hemenway brothers, cemetery designer Warren Nixon, and Mrs. Frances Lewis Wilson. We’ve unearthed new information on her plot. Enjoy a final story, refreshments, and a display of artifacts belonging to featured luminaries at the beautiful 1885 cemetery chapel.
Content is most suited for ages 12+ and be sure to wear appropriate footwear for walking on dirt roads. Small flashlights are also suggested.
