This Valentine’s Day, help us show the love for Framingham history!
The Framingham History Center (FHC) is excited to be participating in the Framingham Centre Common Cultural District’s new public art project: “Many Cultures, One Heart”. Designed to celebrate the various artistic and ethnic voices of Framingham, this project is engaging local organizations, sponsors, and artists to create heart sculptures to decorate our City. As a proud partner of the Cultural District, the FHC is delighted to be sponsoring a heart that we will place outside of the Village Hall on the Common.
Once the “heart” of Framingham’s civic and cultural life when it served as the town hall, and now a premier venue for weddings and celebrations, the Village Hall on the Common is the perfect place to show our love for Framingham and its history!
Framingham has a rich history of innovation in industry, public health, art, and education can be traced back to the community’s openness to blending ideas, cultures, and communities. “Many Cultures, One Heart” captures this spirit and celebrates many artistic visions that are part of our beloved community today.
The FHC is thrilled to participate in this creative community effort. Your tax-deductible donation will help us fund the sculpture along with materials and a stipend for the artist.
Help us celebrate Framingham history by making a gift today!
