Additional fees may be applied for oversized or otherwise challenging items. Digital reproduction and photocopying are done at the discretion of the Framingham History Center. The FHC reserves the right to refuse any copying request, including those that might damage the material, or if, in its judgement, fulfillment of the request would involve violation of copyright law.
Credit: All uses of FHC images should be credited to the Framingham History Center. For publications and other created works, please send a copy to the Framingham History Center for our onsite research library.
Timeframe: Standard requests are typically processed within 10-15 business days. Expedited services may be available for an additional fee.
Rights & Permissions: Fees paid for reproduction do not grant copyright or exclusive rights to the material. Reproductions are for personal or research use only, unless explicit written permission is granted for broader use. Any commercial use or publication must adhere to copyright laws and will require additional permissions and fees.
Shipping & Handling: Shipping costs are additional and will be determined based on the size, weight, and destination of the requested items.
Payments: All fees must be paid in advance. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Invoices will be provided upon request.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your request after work has begun, you will be billed for the time spent up to the point of cancellation, plus any direct costs incurred.
