Author and Town Historian, Fred Wallace will discuss his newest work which is a history of Cushing Hospital from 1943-1991.
This is a fascinating piece of twentieth century Framingham history as Cushing Hospital was the largest U.S. Army medical complex of its kind built during World War II. Relying heavily on in-person interviews, Wallace reconstructs its wartime history and how, in peacetime, it became a leader in the field of geriatric medicine. Book signing to follow.
Exclusive price at the Framingham History Center $15.94 (includes tax).
Suggested $5 donation.
