Description
The Dennison Mfg. Company comes to life with over 250 illustrations and a very approachable evolution of the company’s five founding products – boxes, tags, labels, crepe paper and sealing wax. Author Pat Lavin summarizes a remarkable history, from the founding of the company in 1844 to the Town of Framingham’s 1952 tribute to Henry S. Dennison, with a sense of wonder and excitement over her discoveries while working on the company archives. FHC Museum Assistant/Education Coordinator, Laura Stagliola, has contributed a stunning selection of Dennison illustrations to accompany Lavin’s narrative; unless otherwise noted, all images are from the Framingham History Center archives.
