Description 
Colored Photograph, "Hall on Hill, Montwaite, Mass.", scene of open-air structure surrounded by many trees This Greek temple style building was at the north end of Montwait, on high ground near the Sudbury River. Also known as the Hall of Philosophy, the roof of the 3 x 5 bay, c.1900, building was supported by 16 perimeter columns affording a large open-air, but roofed space for a variety of uses. The structure no longer exists.
