This Greek temple style building was at the north end of Montwait, on high ground near the Sudbury River. Also known as the Hall of Philosophy, the roof of the 3 x 5 bay, c.1900, building was supported by 16 perimeter columns affording a large open-air, but roofed space for a variety of uses. The structure no longer exists. |
