Description 
Color Postcard, "Montwait, So. Framingham, Mass. Stone showing site of Eames Massacre, Feb 1, 1676" Published by J.F. Eber c1950 View of Montwait, site of cottages, summer houses, public buildings and tenting sites, setting for religious encampments beginning in the 1870s and of Chautauqua gatherings into the early 1900s. Thousands came, many by special trains to nearby Lakeview Station then just north of today's incinerator. Some dwellings and the stone exist.
