For Teachers

Whether you are preparing for a visit or presenting local history in the classroom, the FHC has a number of resources available for teachers from online exhibitions to at home/classroom activities.

Framingham Biographies

This on-going project highlights individuals such as farmers, businessmen and women, inventors, teachers, artists, soldiers, philanthropists, etc. They help to tell the larger story of Framingham’s rich history.

Framingham History Topics

These resources were compiled to assist 3rd grade teachers as they prepared for their classroom visit to the museum. We encourage you to adapt them for your own purposes.

More Learning

If you’re a teacher or a parent looking for activities to share with your children at home, you can find more resources below.

Part of the Framingham History Center’s mission is to share Framingham’s rich history which we fulfill by maintaining a long-standing field trip for the city’s third grade classes. In addition to this programming, we collaborate with multiple schools and organizations throughout Framingham to provide educational experiences.

To schedule a tour for your classroom, please contact  Director of Programs & Education Laura Rankin at 508-626-9091 or laura@framinghamhistory.org .
