Stitching Revolution in Massachusetts
Saturday-Sunday, June 28th-29th
Reserve Your Spot beginning Monday, March 10th!
Generously funded by MA250, “Stitching Revolution in Massachusetts” is a hands-on celebration of the Bay State’s pivotal role in the American Revolution, combining history, creativity, and community.
Over the weekend, participants will design and sew quilt squares for a collaborative project inspired by Revolutionary themes, while learning about the era’s textile history from guest lecturers.
The event also includes an evening of traditional 18th-century dancing in the historic Village Hall on the Common, where attendees will learn period-accurate steps from skilled instructors with live music. This immersive experience connects participants to Massachusetts’ rich Revolutionary history through craft and movement.
