Art & the Family Archive | Family Fictions with artist Liz Albert
Date: Saturday, November 15, 2:00 – 3:30 PM
Event: Artist Talk and Workshop
Cost: FREE

Generously funded by the Framingham Cultural Council.
Join lens-based artist and educator Liz Albert for a creative and interactive session exploring how found images can be transformed into stories. Using old Polaroids from Liz’s collection, she will guide you through her recent projects Family Fictions and Instant Classic, in which she reimagines found family photos with juxtaposed imagery and text to uncover hidden narratives.
After her presentation, you’ll choose a Polaroid and use your own personal text to create a new art piece to take home—one that mixes memory, imagination, and visual storytelling.
