clopener (noun) | kloh-puh-ner: borrowed from the restaurant world; one who shows up when something is closing and helps open what comes next.
Join the Framingham History Center for a special community gathering marking the close of the onsite exhibition Framingham’s Collective Journeys: Stories of Immigration, 1960-Present and the beginning of its next chapter as a traveling exhibition!
Hosted by the Framingham History Center and MC’d by co-curator Patrick St. Pierre, this gathering will include oral history moments told by people featured in the exhibition and an invitation to help shape what comes next.
Whether you’re new to the exhibition or have seen it each step along the way, please come and share your own reflections on what the exhibition has meant, what stories still need to be included, and how the traveling version can continue to reflect the many communities that make up Framingham.
