“Views of Framingham” – Howard Street Studios Artist Reception & Community Drawing Event
Join us at Edgell Memorial Library for a special artist reception, workshop, and pop-up exhibition in partnership with Howard Street Studios!
Experience the vibrant artistry of Framingham through the eyes of eight talented members of Howard Street Studios in “Views of Framingham,” a community art project generously funded by the Framingham Cultural Council. The exhibition, on view at the FHC from Nov. 4-9, 2024, showcases the unique perspectives and creative interpretations of Framingham’s landscapes, history, and community.
On Saturday, November 9, the exhibition culminates with a special reception from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at Framingham History Center. Meet the artists behind the works and view their works up close.
The reception will also feature an interactive art activity, “Your Views of Framingham,” where guests are encouraged to create their own artistic interpretations inspired by the exhibit.
Howard Street Studios will provide drawing materials, and the workshop is FREE with your $5 FHC admission (free for FHC members).
Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with local art, connect with the creative community, and celebrate the many faces of Framingham!
