Tours at: 12:00; 12:10; 12:20; 12:30 p.m.
Join us for a walking tour of the former Dennison Mfg. Company with veteran Dennisonians as your guides. If you worked at Dennison, this will be a walk down memory lane and even if you didn’t, you won’t want to miss this special opportunity to hear the stories and explore the plant (inside and out) that once employed as many as 3,000 workers. Where were those old tag machines that produced one million tags a day? That yellow building on the corner of Bishop and Howard Streets – what went on there? The tour ends with a free sample of beer at Jack’s Abby in the old Therimage building.
Space is limited and reservations are required. Tickets are $10/FHC members, $15/non-members. Purchase at www.framinghamhistory.org or mail check to P.O. Box 2032, Framingham, MA 01703. Upon receipt of payment, we’ll send parking instructions. This tour is just under one mile and an hour long. Please wear appropriate footwear. Rain date: April 17th
At this time (April 4 at 2pm), tickets for the Dennison Walking Tour are sold out.
