Take a trip back in time as our Common is transformed into a tableau of Union and Confederate soldiers’ tents, complete with famous dignitaries, cannon, a blacksmith’s forge, period vendors (sutlers), and a host of family activities including a special itinerary for American Girl doll Addy Walker. The Civil War Living History & Encampment on the Centre Common is free and open to the public. (Reenactors click here for information and registration.) Activities will be held rain or shine.

In addition to a Civil War Dance, the Civil War Living History & Encampment will feature:
