A Year in Review

What a year it has been! It has been a privilege to continue highlighting the many people, places, stories, and objects that represent the depth and breadth of Framingham’s long history.

  • We were thrilled to be able to integrate a few outdoor, in-person gatherings alongside of our virtual programs this year.
  • We connected with over 600 FPS students through both a virtual field trip experience for third graders and custom designed programs for FPS’s Summer Scene.
  • 2021 saw the careful development of our new Community Engagement Plan designed to help the FHC connect with communities whose histories have been overlooked or misinterpreted by the organization in the past.
  • And we launched a new digital exhibit, Watched and Worried Men: King Philip’s War in Framingham and presented our second Virtual House Tour, showcasing some of Framingham’s most distinctive homes.

From all of us here at the Framingham History Center, we thank you and send our very best wishes for a happy, and healthy, New Year!
