Color Postcard, "5558" Central Square, Framingham Centre, Mass.", addressed with message to Mrs. Henry F. Hohnquist, 112 Berkeley Street, Boston, MA from Mary E. Doherty, Box 354, Framingham, Mass published by Bates and Holdsworth Co. Framingham. Early 1900s - A horse and wagon, a horse trough and an open B&W trolley are pictured in this photo of Central Square looking northwest. Five streets met at Central Square: Eastern Avenue (now Rt.e 9), Main Street, High Street, Pleasant Street and Elm Street (now Edgell Road). "There was a market in one of the buildings shown - with orders delivered to homes. The delivery man gave me a ride from stones to Wisons when I started working there."
