Description
RUSTIC BRIDGES AT SIMPSON'S POND The mounted sepia print shows a waterway with bridges in the background and at right, and a tree-lined bank. The connection between Simpson's Pond and the Sudbury River was the small stream shown in the 1880 view. Today, this stream is preserved as a culvert, and the only hint of its existence in 1980 are the drain and manhole cover in the foreground.
