B/W Photograph, "Abner Wheeler House Framingham Centre, Mass.", with detailed description on back addressed with message to Mrs. Robert Branhall, Peace Street, Hopedale, Mass Published by Tichnor Bros, Tichnor Quality Views The oldest part of the house was built by Joseph Stone around 1720. Abner Wheeler, who operated a store and hotel in the Centre, bought it in 1809. In the 1930's and for about three decades thereafter it was a restaurant, the "Abner Wheeler House." Today the site at Route 9 and Main Street is known as Deerskin Plaza.
