Air photo by Les Smith The 100-room, air-conditioned Motor Inn opened May1, 1954. At lower right is Christy's Restaurant, later the site of the Red Coach Grill, and now the site of Chef Orient. Mass Turnpike exit 12 had not yet opened at the time this photo was taken circa 1955. The Motor Inn was razed in 1994.
