Description Colored Photograph, "The Framingham Country Club Framingham, Mass.", a summer scene with several men and women standing about
Pub. by JF Eber

Early 1900s - This is the historic (circa 1700) house built by Caleb Bridges, whose mother was accused of witchcraft. When Framingham Golf Club moved from its Pincushion Links to form the Country Club in 1902, this became the clubhouse for more than 50 years. Today, behind Edgewater Hills Apartments, it serves as a recreation center for the apartments. Photo is looking north across Gates Street.
