Description
SOUTH FRAMINGHAM, EAST OF CONCORD STREET The mounted sepia print documents the view of the South Framingham Hotel, railroad tracks, and a building with attached ells and barn to more distant buildings. The view from the top of the Waverly Building in 1880, looking to the northeast, was dominated by the South Framingham Hotel, an old wooden structure going back to the 1820s and torn down in 1894. In 1980, the largest structure was the former Kendall Hotel, then occupied by the Framingham Trust Company.
